They CAN manipulate our dreams.
For me, they do it all the time.
I cannot say for sure how they do it, but I can say how I would do it if I were them...
When you're asleep, your subconscious is still listening and recording all of the information it receives.
This makes you EXTREMELY susceptible to all forms of suggestions.
I believe they use many forms of hypnotic suggestions to make you imagine and experience the things that you do.
For example, If I had access to their technology, I could wait until you start drifting off into sleep, when your external senses get "turned off" and your internal senses get "turned on" and give you the following suggestions...
"You are on a beach" "Look at the water and the waves crashing onto the shore" "A bird flies by your head"
You will now vividly imagine you are on a beach and you will actually experience this as if it were "real"
It's actually very easy for them to hypnotize you, especially since they are using artificial telepathy/voice of god weapons.
When you are in a deep trance like sleep, your mind is their playground.
And I speak from experience as I studied hypnosis and NLP as a teenager for many years and know how it all works.
They don't just use these techniques when you're sleeping either.
